Vintage Kodak Safelight Lamp, red lens

Description

I acquired this Vintage Kodak Safelight Lamp with a box lot at a sale, I am not a photographer. There are no labels on the silver casing, the red filter has some chips around the edges. The largest chip is to the left of the Kodak printing, largely hidden by the lens cap.There are surface scratches on the glass but do not penetrate the red surface.
