This very unique doll is a one of a kind by Peter Wolf, who was a very talented doll artist from Germany.
It is called The Green Mandarin, who seems to be a fortune teller.
This doll was made in 1990 and has the original tag, signed by Peter Wolf. He sits 12 inches tall.
The sculpting of this doll is gorgeous! The face is painted beautifully and is very expressive. Look at those eyes!
His head is adorned with blue and green 'crystal' headpieces and earrings (actually plastic).
He sports a Fu Manchu mustache and long braid goes down his back.
He wears a very lavish brocade cape over a green shirt and blue pants. The clothing is stunning.
Black boots are on his feet. There are a few scuff marks on the shoes.
He wears a silver charm or talisman around his neck.
A green crystal ball rests on a black wooden pedestal which sits between his legs.
His hands are raised, as if he is talking to someone or maybe predicting the future.
Please note: in one picture, you can see he has a couple of broken fingers on his right hand. Other than that, he is in very good condition.
Was in a pet free, smoke free home.
