A pure polish is really designed as a gloss enhancer to be used between compounding and applying wax protection.

This step is intended for use after a compound and before applying a wax or sealant, and most effective on darker colors for a brilliant high gloss finish. Wash & evaluate the surface
Begin by washing and drying your boat or RV with a premium marine wash.

is a great product to effectively remove loose surface contaminants without stripping wax protection.
