Handmade crochet hornet/wasp nests. It is said that hornets and wasps are very territorial and will not build nests within a 200 foot radius of an existing one. One way to deter hornets and wasps from building their nests near your house or cabin is to put up a fake/faux one. This is a good non-toxic option. My fake crochet ones come in four colors: beige, tan, brown and gray. They are large in size measuring approximately 10-11 inches high (not including loop) and have a loop on top to hang from a hook as shown in photos. Crocheted from quality worsted weight yarn. The inside is filled with Polyfil polyester stuffing and a small weight (small natural stone) towards the bottom. I recommend hanging them under the eaves of your house or under a covered roof so that they are not continually saturated with rain.
