Description
*** I normally wouldn't salvage this tank because there are two sizes for this ancient tank and not a numbered model number, but it is such a big tank that only a fool would not replace this tank at all cost. So here it is.... first come first serve. ONE FLUSHERA-Briggs is stamped in a smaller tank so be careful. If your tank matches dimensions below you found the needle in the haystack for a champion one flusher!
Used white tank is in excellent condition EXCEPT some scuffs near bottom on front shown in photos.
Tank is stamped A-Briggs.
Top of tank measures approx 21.25 x 8.75
Approx. distance of bolt holes center to center 5.5"
*******Matching lid is not included.
******“Guts” have been removed for porcelain inspection purposes , so ALL porcelain is guaranteed.
Tank will be carefully boxed in styrofoam for safe shipping.
This item will be FULLY insured for the full amount at no cost to you.

Additonal information on used tanks:
*** This listing is for a used porcelain tank only. Matching lid is sold separately.
*** Used guts and handle have been removed AND are not included unless otherwise specified. No guts are included with this tank.
If you have your old guts you may reuse them. Otherwise, inexpensive new guts and handle are recommended when installing a tank.
*** Front and sides of tank are cleaned thoroughly. Inside, underneath and backside of tank may or may not show signs of stains, paint, etc. but are unimportant because they are not visible when tank is installed on your bowl and with your lid sitting on top.
THERE ARE MANY GOOD REASONS TO BUY A REPLACEMENT TANK:
PLEASE CONSIDER THE FOLLOWING BEFORE SPENDING A LOT OF TIME AND MONEY ON A NEW TOILET:
*At the click of a button your replacement tank will arrive at your door in 1-3 business days from UPS and save you considerable time and likely money compared to replacing a toilet and disposing of the old one.
*Replacing your tank is easy. 1. Remove bolts and connections. 2. Find brand and model number 3. Order replacement tank. 4. Install tank and reconnect. Piece of cake!
(IF YOU CAN’T FIND BRAND OR MODEL NUMBER, SEND A PIC AND I CAN IDENTIFY IT)
*Quality new toilets are 0 and up. Minimum 1 hour driving and shopping for new toilet. Minimum 1 hour replacing toilet if no problems. Minimum1 hour disposal of old toilet. Plumber labor for install 0 plus marked up price of toilet.
*The base of the bowl of your existing discontinued toilet may leave a “footprint” on the existing floor and may lead to recarpeting or retiling.
*Your existing discontinued toilet may have been painted around in years past and installing a new shaped toilet may lead to repainting the entire bathroom.
* Installing a newer, smaller flush toilet may lead to sewer and septic problems or require two or more flushes every time to get waste all the way gone and not backing up.
*Plumbing and rough in problems may arise, disposal of the old toilet may be a problem, overall dimensions of a new toilet may be an issue, colors of new toilets may not match sink and tub, antique themed bathrooms or brand name themes may not retain their theme anymore after putting a cheap new toilet in and decrease the value of your home, etc.
*Keep all house toilets the same model if you can.
*Buying a new cheap toilet gets you a weak toilet, likely needing two flushes. If your toilet is a gem of an older big flush toilet save it while you can.
*The price of items at ToiletsAndStuff depends on rarity, condition, supply and demand, shipping costs, amount of packaging, etc.
A NEW TOILET IS AN EXPENSIVE CAN OF WORMS.
A REPLACEMENT TANK IS A SEMI-EXPENSIVE PIECE OF CAKE!
Whether you buy a replacement part or not from ToiletsAndStuff, good luck with your project!
